My experience has taught me that every higher ed institution and non-profit org has fundraising and stewardships needs that expand and become significantly more complex as they grow. Left unchecked, these needs become problems that can destroy an organization’s ability to connect with core donor bases, alumni, and board members. I’ve spent my career developing strategic plans, driving donor engagement, supervising communication efforts, and creating solutions that build the foundation of success for years to come.
In my current role with the Centre College, I manage team of frontline fundraisers working with alumni, parents and friends seeking opportunities to make transformative investments in Centre College’s future growth. These contributions can take many different forms including both general philanthropic gifts, which serve to strengthen the institution as a whole, and those that are more strategically focused toward programs and specific institutional goals.
Data-driven and personable, I bring several years of experience in donor engagement and an extensive background in relationship development. My record of accomplishments spans across multiple projects and organizations focused on charitable giving.
Through a combination of solid decision making, a dedication to producing quality work, and a keen understanding of how people – whether donors, alumni, senior leaders, or my peers – impact operations, I offer a track record of spearheading major appeals and fundraising campaigns that significantly expand the number of gifts and revenues.
A graduate of Marshall University, I earned Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Psychology, where I specialized in behavioral statistics and identity development. I also have a combined ten years of experience in research consulting, real estate investment, and higher education.
