Sarah B. Matthews, CFRE, has been in development for over 20 years, and has served as a financial resources consultant for more than 11 years. She currently is a major gifts officer at The Carter Center, in Atlanta, GA. Actively involved in church ministry since 1989, she is co-author of the book Fundraising for Churches: 12 Keys to Success Every Church Leader Should Know, and the companion on-line course by the same name. Sarah has presented at numerous conferences, including the 2018 AFP International Conference. She has over 10 years' experience in training others to be successful in their fundraising relationships, writing successful fundraising letters, and creating a fundraising plan that works for their organization.
