Known as an engaging speaker and catalyst for organizational growth, Evan brings expertise in Fundraising, Strategic planning, Board development, Governance, Marketing and Branding.
Prior to joining GSB Evan served as Chief Mission Officer for Upbring. As the largest provider of children’s residential services in Texas, Upbring (upbring.org) is multi-state social service agency, serving 32,000 people a year with 950+ staff and an annual operating budget of $75 Million. As Chief Mission Officer, Evan assisted in the creation of a new strategic plan for this 134-year-old organization, which included leading the organizations rebranding process, and significantly increasing annual fund development.
Additionally, Evan has served in Executive leadership and development roles with a diverse array of non-profits from camp & retreat centers to international global relief agencies.
Holding the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential since 2007, an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, and a graduate certificate from the University of Texas in Non-Profit Management; Evan brings passion and expertise to organizations large and small.
